The Children Helping Concert is a unique event where gifted young musicians aged eight to 18 perform alongside established professional performers. Raising money for children with hemiplegia – a neurological condition that weakens one side of the body and for which there is no cure.
2013 marks ten years since the first concert; to celebrate this milestone we have invited some stars from previous concerts to the stage as well as talented young performers. Highlights include a talented 17-year-old clarinettist, a gifted young pianist and composer, a fantastic brass group from the Centre for Young Musicians, and a host of special guests to be announced.
The fantastic London Phoenix Orchestra also perform and the evening is compered by BBC Radio 3’s Sean Rafferty who compered the concert in 2010.
NB. Please be seated by 5.45pm.
As part of our tenth anniversary celebrations we are inviting all our supporters to bid for some fabulous prizes in our online auction: www.hemihelp-onlineauction.com
