Join OSP (the Orchestra of St Paul’s) for the perfect festive family treat. We begin with We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, an interactive retelling of the traditional children’s rhyme, with music by Ian Stephens. Bring your favourite teddy, and prepare to join in with the story!
This is followed by the ultimate Christmas experience: a screening of The Snowman, shown on the big screen with Howard Blake’s instantly recognisable score played live.
Please note: these concerts are relaxed performances.
What is a relaxed performance?
Relaxed performances are specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed performance environment, including younger children, people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement. An easy way to understand the atmosphere is perhaps, the opposite of the ‘quiet carriage’ on the train.
